Clean your data before you move it
A migration is the worst possible time to discover that half your contact records are duplicates. Spend the weeks before tidying.
Migrate in phases
Move one branch, then another. Move tenants, then statements, then archives. A big-bang switch on the busiest week of the quarter rarely ends well.
Train before the deadline, not after
Staff who are still learning the system on go-live day will struggle. Run live training a fortnight before the cutover.
